Ivan the Giant Isopod

This is a giant isopod that I crocheted for someone. These are deep sea scavengers that look like some sort of strange alien/insect mix. (like a pill bug and a lobster had a baby)

The shell pieces, and feet/claws are made of felt. The shell took forever, since I hand stitched each piece together and made them overlay each other a little to make it look like a segmented shell.
